The International Distress Signal is the perfect metaphor for the over-policed citizens of Ferguson, Missouri. The Flag is a potent symbol. Upside-down justice is common fare for Negro Americans, who are a fairly conservative lot if you really get to know them. Church-going people. They react poorly to The Wound That Will Not Heal — which is, in my opinion, the state of Racism in America. Blue on Black violence is not Justice.
